Massive 2.3 crore IOPC from 7-16 July

IOPC for IPC websiteIndia’s top online poker gaming portal TheSpartanPoker is back with the biggest poker festival of the country and that is none other than India Poker Championship’s (IPC) online avatar the India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) with more than INR 2.3 crores in guaranteed prizepools. This is the second edition of IOPC this year after January edition, which had INR 1.35 crores in GTD prizepools, saw Pradeep Nudurumati shipping the Main Event and being crowned India Online Poker Champion.

The July edition of IOPC will take place over a course of 10 days starting from 7-16 July with 55 tournaments scheduled, with 5-6 events taking place every day. The series has a range of formats, variants and buy-ins along with every tournament guaranteeing terrific value in prizepools. With the positive response from Pot-Limit Omaha lovers, TheSpartanPoker has come up with some high guarantee PLO tournaments along with DeepStack Turbo events and a Progressive KnockOut event among others.


The thrilling INR 25 Lakhs IOPC HighRoller is a highlight event of the series scheduled in the latter half of the Series on 13 July at 9:00 PM with a buy-in of INR 27,500. The biggest buy-in event in the schedule is the INR 55,000 Super HighRoller guaranteeing INR 30 Lakhs scheduled on Day 8 i.e. 14 July at 9:00 PM. Everyone will be gunning to win the biggest title of the Series, the IOPC Main Event which takes place on the last day with a guarantee of an INR 50 Lakhs prizepool. This INR 11,000 buyin event will begin at 9:00 PM on 16 July. There’s a good mix of tournaments across the ten days with buy-ins starting as low as INR 330.

IOPC Leaderboard

All players competing in the IOPC can also compete in the leaderboard race to earn their share of INR 10 Lakhs in cash chips. Any player who finishes in the money in any event will be assigned a certain number of points depending on the buyin, field size and finishing position. At the end of the series the top 10 finishers on the IOPC leaderboard will score their share of INR 5 lakhs.


Don’t be dissuaded from playing the big ticket events as there are very economical step sattys, regular sattys and even on-the-day one hand satellites scheduled for the HighRoller, Super HighRoller and Main Event.
